2025 ENVIRONMENTAL STEWARDSHIP RECIPIENTS

Happy New Year! We are so pleased to announce the recipients of our 2025 charitable Environmental Stewardship campaign.

Each year, in alignment with our core value of Stewardship, Verdance donates at least 10% of our profits to environmentally-focused organizations whose work complements our own.

This year we are delighted to begin supporting not one, but three new agencies:

  • Green Foothills not only protects open space, natural resources, and farmland in Santa Clara and San Mateo counties, but also provides leadership trainings and advocacy and education programs on climate resilience and biodiversity.

  • Land Trust of Santa Clara Valley (LTSCV) preserves large, contiguous land areas to safeguard entire ecosystems in Santa Clara County. In addition to protecting these essential wildlife habitats, LTSCV manages agricultural lands to support viable farming and farm workers.

  • South Bay Clean Creeks Coalition (SBCCC) volunteers do the dirty work of removing trash and invasive plants from the Santa Clara Valley’s critical waterways. Their efforts have improved habitat for Chinook salmon, steelhead trout and directly supported the return of these iconic species to our creeks and rivers.

Now in the fifth year of our Environmental Stewardship campaign, Verdance supports 10 organizations whose missions support the ecological health, biodiversity and resilience of the Bay Area:

Verdance will make a regular contribution to each of these groups in each month of 2025 and beyond, to help provide them with stable, predictable revenue.

We feel honored to be able to help these agencies achieve their missions, and grateful that their work enables ours.
